Being a foster bruvver, again!

Yesserday, moms and dads went out and ven when vey came home, vey brought a new doggie home!  Vey say she is just our foster.  Her name are "No L".  I fink va "L" stands for "leg" cuz she is missing a leg!!  She are a real beeyootiful girl and is real nice to me, too!  We are fostering her for va group we vowunteer wiff, Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus . 
 Vis is No L and dads.  See, her back leg is gone!  Moms said she gotted hit by a car and ven her leg fell off or somefing like vat.  Aww, poor girl!  Whenever she sees cars, she real wants to chase vem.  Moms and dads said she will need a furever home wiff a fenced yard so she can't get away and chase cars ever again!


She real loves va bed she came wiff.  She is so good and just lies vere, chewing bones or seep seeping.  Aww, good girl!

Vis morning, I was tired of waiting for our formal introduction.  Moms and dads insist on s-l-o-w intros wiff new dogs.  Vey say vat gives us all a chance to sniff each uvver, pway on opposite sides of va gate and everyfing, but no one can get hurted.  Well, I could tell No L is a real goodness girl, so when moms was in va baffroom vis morning, I opened va gate and went in to meet her.  Va look on moms face when she came out was priceless, haha!  I was just hanging wiff my new friend, vo!  Here we are, waiting for cookies.

I just know we will find va perfeck home for vis beauty.  I hope peepow don't worry about her missing leg, cuz she runs and pways just like me and SFB.  She real loves to snuggler, too!! Here is more info about my beeyootiful foster sissy and a wot of pictures.

Being in a parade!

On Memorial Day vis year, me and my whole famiwy got to be in a parade in a pwace called Itasca!  Me, moms, dads, SFB, children#1, children#2, and children#3 all piled into va truckie and off we went to find Itasca and our friends and fellow volunteers from Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus .  When we arrived, I couldn't bewieve how many of my friends were going to be in va parade wiff us!  Luckily, va wetness maker didn't turn on va whole way, so we stayed dry and everyfing.  I told SFB to be a good girl and be nice to everyone, and she did a good job.  I met a wot of real niceness peepow and we have already heard from some of vem who want to adopt.  I call it a good day!  Here are some pics!

SFB met a wot of little childrens and was a real good girl wiff vem.  Puppy pants is learning!!

It's real tiring to be in a parade.  All va walking, meeting peepow, trying to pickup all va candy vey are frowing, only to hear moms and dads yell "No HOGAN!!  OUT!".  I gotted a couple pieces down before vey knew it vo, haha!!

Being a fan of hats!

I fink it all started wiff my ears being posted.  Every time moms did vem, she'd say somefing like "what a good, good boy you are, sitting so nice so we can fix your special hat!"  I've loved hats and fings ever since! 
 

 

I'm real luckiness to get so many awesome sauce hats and fings!  Fanks to all my aunties and to moms and dads and va childrens!!

Being a patient

Every now and ven, moms and dads and I go visit Docker Paul.  He is va one who figured out my angry butt disease (Irritable Bowel Disease, for va record, fanks moms!) and he helps me to feel betterness.  He gives me a 'jection of B12 which helps my body process fings better.  Now, I also get to take green jelly beans two times a day wiff my food!  Moms says vey are really called Gas-X, which sounds really silly business to me!

Over va weekend we visited Docker Paul and he says I'm doing great!  Sometines while I'm waiting for him to come in I get nervous and need to snuggler.  Dads is awesome sauce and helps me not be nervous.

Ven Docker Paul comes in and gets on va floor wiff me and pets me all over!  He's a real gentle, nice man and I real like him a wot!  I even bring my puppy, Sarah, to see him, too!  He is at Animal Care Clinic in Algonquin.  If you need a great vet, he's va bestest!!!  Dr. Paul Bierlein (fanks again, moms!).








Once my 'pointment is over, I get a wot of treats from va girls up front and more pets and snugglers.  Ven we head home.  Vat wasn't so bad!!

Being a 'pairman!

Moms and dads wanted to fix our cubie-ma-boppow maker (I found out hoomans call it "ice cube maker") and our dishy washy.  So vey looked and looked and finawy found 'pairman Josh from WPK Appliance Service.  He is super duper nice and really knows his stuff!  Now we have cubie-ma-boppows again and also moms and dads don't have to wash all va dishes!!  Fanks Josh!!

Josh can fix anyfing, I'm pretty sure, so look him up if you need help, OK??

Being a host!

Moms, SFB and I hosteded a party where you, like, sit around and sniff real good stuff and eat and talk and shop for purses!  I've never hosted a party before, so vis was real exciting!  I sent out emayo invites and everyfing!  Auntie Melissa came over yesserday and ven she told everyone at va party all 'bout va items.  She is a vowunteer wiff Illinois Doberman Rescue Plus wiff me and moms! 

Here is Auntie Nancy and Auntie Mewissa.  SFB wanted to eat all va smellies, hahaha!!!  Oh, do you see me in vis pic??  Haha, now I have va giggows!

Auntie Shan even came over!  She is real awesome sauce.  She knows redheads are va bestest!  She is va mom to my handsun cousin, Compie.  He is a red Doberboy, too, and is so smart and everyfing!  Fanks for va kisses, Auntie!

I went in va kitchen to look at purses wiff moms and va sun came out!  So, of course I had to pause va party for a bit so I could sunbaze!  It had been SO long wiffout sunbazing, I couldn't let it get away!!  It felt real nice and ven I fell seep seep for awhile, oopsy!

Ven do you know who walked in???  My Auntie Erin!  She lives real farness away and everyfing but wanted to come by and say hi and hang out wiff me, I'm pretty sure.  We looked at va smellies, but really it was just a ploy for me to get some snugglerin and kissin in!  She is a fellow bwogger (remember, The Five Dog Blog ) so we talked about bwogging some, too.  Fanks for coming to see me, Auntie!!  Sorry I was so whiny, but it was dinner time!  Hahah!

Being a birfday boy, almost!

OK, so obviouswy I'm real spoiled rotten!  Today I got to open a whole bag o'gifts for my birfday even vo it's next monf!  Auntie Sue finds such coolness stuff!!

I real like pink and everyfing!  Vis bag smelled super goodness, too!

No wonder, yummy Nywabone bones were inside!

And special Happy Birday cookies!  I was a nice boy and shared wiff SFB...
